Religious Facilities - Stone Oak Temple

    

Towering over the Stone Oak area on 5.4 acres located at the highest elevation in Bexar County is the Stone Oak Temple. Vickrey & Associates, Inc. was recognized by the San Antonio Council of Engineering Companies (SACEC) as a recipient of the 2006 Engineering Excellence Award for their engineering work on the Stone Oak Temple.  

The project was deemed outstanding due to Vickrey’s innovative environmentally sensitive design to solve complex site issues such as steep grades, drainage issues, site grading considerations, water quality over the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone and other construction complexities unique to this site. Vickrey & Associates, Inc. was retained by RVK Architects to provide the plans and specifications for the site grading, site utilities, site dimensions, and water quality controls.
