Surveying the San Antonio River & Traversing Back In Time

Vickrey & Associates, Inc. (V&A) is proud to have received the Texas CEC 2005 Engineering Excellence Award for our surveying and mapping work on the historic San Antonio River. V&A's report entitled "Surveying the San Antonio River & Traversing Back in Time" received recognition from the state & local chapters of the Texas Council of Engineering Companies (CEC).

The surveys include the portion of the Riverwalk that falls between Market Street and the historic Commerce Street Bridge and from the Commerce Street Bridge extending to Crockett Street. V&A uncovered relic deeds from surveys dating back to the original survey of San Fernando de Bexar, a province of Spain in 1731. This award recognizes V&A’s distinct approach and unique qualifications for successfully achieving land boundary resolutions.
