Vickrey & Associates, Inc. is the proud recipient of the San Antonio Express-News Top Work Place 2009 award. Announced by the Express-News in a special publication in their Sunday paper, V&A was ranked 9th out of 52 small businesses that participated in the survey.
V&A is committed to providing a quality work environment for our employees. Our company culture, benefits package and company-sponsored events are all focused on ensuring each employee knows he or she is a valued member of the V&A team. We offer medical and dental insurance, 401k matching, paid time off and tuition assistance among other benefits to promote our employees’ health and well-being. We also participate in mentoring programs and community events as well as host company events like spirit week, Cowboy breakfast and Fiesta Day which offer employees the chance to get to know one another, enjoy time together and serve the community.

V&A was nominated for consideration in February and employees of the firm were subsequently surveyed, anonymously, on a range of factors which contribute to creating an outstanding place to work, including benefits, management and opportunity for growth. The research was conducted by Workplace Dynamics, a talent recruitment and analysis firm, and results were reported to all nominated firms and used to tabulate the winning “top” work places. 119 San Antonio-area companies and organizations participated in the workplace survey.
